Klaus Prufer (left) with Bill and Margaret Dobie at Nym Lake. Klaus was a printer at the Atikokan Progress for several years. A year or so after this photo was taken he moved to Vancouver where his brother lived. He built a sailboat, got married, and he and his wife sailed the boat part way to Hawaii, but they were swamped in a storm and rescued by a Canadian Navy destroyer. Klaus was murdered in Nanaimo, BC. in October 1970.
