Two Atikokan teenagers were honoured at the weekly Teen Town dance when President Lewicki presented them with pens on behalf of Teen Town. Norman Bone and Les Staples both Teen Town members, left Thursday to join the navy.
In making the presentation John Lewicki told the gathering that both Norman and Les had made many contributions to Teenage activities in Atikokan. Norman was Atikokan's first Youth Rally convenor and served on the Teen Town executive for the past three years. Les was an active member of Teen Town and worked on various Teen Town projects.
Helen Mathison's group was responsible for the program of the evening.
