Text of clipping is: "REMEMBER WHEN? Some Legion veterans will recognize this picture of the old Legion Hall which was situated a bit off Mackenzie Ave. near the present police office and the Clark St. school. Note the wee house at the back which was an outdoor biffy and where thousands of beer caps were dumped in the hole. It might also be mentioned that after the Legion vacated the building it became the first home of the Atikokan PROGRESS. The picture was taken in 1949 by Ted Linn. "
