Many thanks to Rob Purdon of the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, who identified the location of these photos, previously mis-identified as Caland Ore. He said in part: " . . . . (the photos) are actually of the Hogarth and the Roberts Pits on the Steep Rock side. The water body on the right side of the images is the West Arm of Steep Rock Lake and the A-2 Headframe and dry are visible on the left side of Photo 3. "
Photo 1. All of these photos were taken from the north and generally look south.
Photo 2.
Photo 3. The A-2 headframe and dry are near the bottom left of the photo.
Photo 4.
Many thanks to for scanning these photos from the collection of the Atikokan Centennial Museum.
